The Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed to teach individuals how to perform CPR and AED on adults, children, and infants. The course is intended for anyone who wants to learn how to perform CPR, including healthcare professionals, workplace responders, and members of the general public.

  • The course is accredited by The Irish Heart Foundation and successful participants will receive a certificate valid for 2 years

  • Duration: 2H

  • This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in case of a cardiac emergency. This can include healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, and paramedics, as well as non-healthcare professionals such as teachers, coaches, lifeguards, and anyone else who wants to be prepared to respond to a cardiac emergency

    • Use of resuscitation face masks & face shields

    • Adult & Child recovery position

    • Adult & Child choking (conscious and unconscious)

    • AED Introduction

    • Safe and effective use of an AED

  • The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by a demonstration, practical tasks, and assessment of individual skills. EFAST instructors ensures that participants not only learn the theory but also develop practical skills that can be applied in real-world situations
