This Heartsaver AED and CPR Training Course is in association with the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association (this is a half day course)The Irish Heart Foundation/American Heart Association Heart saver CPR/AED course is designed to teach participants Basic Life Support (BLS) to responder level. All training is completed following AHA/IHF guidelines.

  • Duration: 5 Days

  • Maximum of 6 learners

  • Upon successful completion of this course and monitoring process, students will be issued with an Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association credit card sized instructor certificate.

  • The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by a demonstration, practical tasks, and assessment of individual skills. EFAST instructors consider the type of training that will be most effective and adapting for your workforce, taking into account the specific skills and knowledge required for each role.

  • Upon successful completion of this course and monitoring process, students will be issued with an Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association credit card sized instructor certificate.

    Instructor Candidates: to gain full instructor status students must complete the required 3 steps:

    1. Observing an instructor deliver a course

    2. Assisting an instructor with a course

    3. Delivering a course to a group in the presence of an Irish Heart Foundation faculty member

    Once this has been completed successfully, students are fully qualified instructors and will receive their instructor certificate.
